This site cannot provide treatment referrals or crisis support
Ohio Recovery Directory is an informational website. No one monitors our email for urgent requests, and we are not clinicians. If you or someone you love needs help, contact the people who are trained and staffed for it, right now:
- Treatment referrals: SAMHSA National Helpline — 1-800-662-4357. Free, confidential, 24/7, in English and Spanish.
- Mental health or substance use crisis: call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
- Suspected overdose or medical emergency: call 911 immediately.
Report a correction to a listing
The most useful email you can send us. If a facility in this directory has closed, moved, changed its phone number, or no longer offers a service shown on its listing, let us know and we'll review it against the federal dataset. Please include the facility's name, the city page where you found it, and what's wrong.
Email: contact@REPLACE-DOMAIN.com
Corrections are checked against SAMHSA's FindTreatment.gov data — our editorial policy explains how listings are sourced and refreshed. Because we don't edit the federal dataset itself, some fixes take effect at the next data refresh rather than immediately.
Suggestions
If a guide was confusing, a page was hard to use on your phone, or there's a topic you wish we covered — tell us. This site improves mostly because people who used it during a hard week took a minute to say what would have helped. Write to contact@REPLACE-DOMAIN.com with "Suggestion" in the subject line.
Press & research
Journalists and researchers are welcome to reach out at the same address with "Press" in the subject line. Questions about how the directory is built and sourced are usually answered by How We List Facilities and the about page, so those are good places to start.
A note for treatment facilities
We appreciate facilities that want their information to be accurate, and we're glad to review corrections. But please don't write to ask about paid listings, featured placement, or advertising — none of those exist here, and that's by design. If your facility is licensed and listed with SAMHSA's FindTreatment.gov locator, it will appear in this directory automatically when the data refreshes.
