Privacy Policy

Short version: this site doesn't collect personal information about you, doesn't set cookies, doesn't show ads, and doesn't sell or share anything about its visitors. Here's the longer version, in plain language.

What this site collects: almost nothing

Ohio Recovery Directory is a static informational website. There are no user accounts, no sign-up forms, no contact forms, no comment sections, and no search box that stores what you type. The site itself does not collect, store, or process any personal data about you. When you call a facility listed here, you are calling that facility directly — we have no record that the call happened.

Server logs

Like virtually every website, the hosting provider that serves these pages keeps standard server logs. Those logs typically include your IP address, the pages requested, the date and time, and your browser type. They exist for security and reliability, are handled by the hosting provider under its own policies, and are not used by us to identify or profile visitors.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics tracking, no advertising pixels, and no third-party scripts that follow you around the web.

Third parties

  • Google Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches a font, Google may log your IP address under its own privacy policy. No other information is sent.
  • Outbound links. Listings link to facility websites and to government resources such as FindTreatment.gov. Once you leave this site, the destination's own privacy practices apply.

What we never do

  • We do not sell or share visitor data — there is none to sell.
  • We show no advertising of any kind.
  • We do not collect leads or pass contact information to treatment centers, call centers, or anyone else. Our editorial policy explains why that independence matters.

Your privacy when seeking treatment

A few things worth knowing if you're researching treatment for yourself or someone else. If you share a computer or phone, you can browse in your browser's private or incognito mode so these pages don't appear in your history. Calls you make to treatment facilities are confidential conversations with healthcare providers. And once you enter treatment, a federal regulation known as 42 CFR Part 2 gives substance use treatment records special confidentiality protections — generally stricter than ordinary medical privacy rules — limiting who can see those records without your written consent. We mention this for information only; the facility you contact can explain how it applies to your care.

Changes to this policy

If the way this site works ever changes — for example, if a contact form or analytics were added — this policy will be updated to say so plainly before that change takes effect.

Questions

Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@REPLACE-DOMAIN.com, or see the contact page for more ways to reach us. To learn more about the site itself, visit the about page.
